When flames reach the heat-sensitive tubing and temperatures rise to 150 - 180°C, the tubing bursts open at that spot, forming a miniature nozzle. The pneumatic mechanism activates the extinguisher valve, releasing the extinguishing agent directly onto the flames, instantly dousing the fire. As the extinguishing agent is fluorine free foam, it has no adverse environmental impact, making it eco-friendly.
